Article 1
The first article states that Congress is the leader of the legislative branch,also that the legislative branch is seperated into bicameral houses (two houses). These houses are the Senate and the House of representitives. The legislative branch has the power to tax people and to make new laws.
article 2
The second article states that the leaders of the executive branch are the president and the vice president. The executive branch has the power to enforce laws and is the comander in chief of the U.S. military. The president and vice president are chosen every 4 years.
article 3
The third article states that the leader of the judicial branch is the supreme court. They have the power to declare any law un-constitutional. The article also states that all states can have smaller courts.
article 4
The fourth article says that all states must respect all other states. Everybody, even though they are from different states, has the same rights as everyone else. This article also gives protection to each state.
Article 5
This article states that the constitution can be amended (chanded). The amendment must be proposed by the House of representatives, then it must be approved by 2/3 of the house. After it goes to the people then they decide if they want it in the constitution or not.
article 6
This article states that the constitution is the law of the land, no law is above it. This also states that everyone in the U.S. must obey the Constitution.
article 7
This article explains how the constitution is amended. It means that 2/3 of the states must dicide if they want the amendment in their constitution or not. There is also a second option for ratifiying the constitution and it is a ratification convention.
