amendment 21
This article says that the eighteenth amendment is repealed. This means that the eighteenth amendment is taken away.
amendment 22
This amendment states that no president shall hold office for more than 2 terms. This amendment didn't affect the president during the election of 1947.
amendment 23
This amendment states that the District of Columbia will have two Senators. They will also have one representative for House of representatives.
amendment 24
This amendment states that you still have the right to vote even though you failed to pay taxes. This includes all elections from state representatives to president.
amendment 25
This amendment states that if the president dies the vice president takes over. If the vice president cant take over then the speaker of the house will then take over.
amendment 26
This amendment states that if you are eighteen years of age or older then you have the right to vote. Also that you can't have your right to vote taken away from you because of age.
amendment 27
This amendment of the constitution was originally one of the twelve of the bill of rights. It states that no law wil take effect until new representatives are elected.
